“Daniela Baráčková has created for the Who likes to watch… exposition an installation resembling an enormous skirt. Should a visitor stoop and walk inside, they are surrounded by screens glowing in the darkness. The proverbial security of mum’s skirt does not provide the anticipated peace. Four video sound tracks merge into a vigorous sensation. From the layered declaration we can feel for instance a reference to the contradiction between the repeated cliché of a mother-child relationship and the complicated nature of any real relationship.”
